SALA D’ATTESA OFF-SITE by the Milan-based design practice studioutte. The exhibition was on view until July 24th 2024 at Numeroventi in Via Pandolfini 20, Florence.

SALA D’ATTESA, first launched at MDW 24, was reinterpreted in Numeroventi’s spaces for the occasion of Numeroventi OUTPUT. The exhibition recreated a domestic conceptual space, where elements responded to a suspension in time. Primitive yet futuristic, the display evoked a neutral liminal space centered around an aluminum carpet that served as a platform for presenting a series of new furniture pieces.


The exhibition also unveiled an exclusive, limited-edition colourway of the Tangi Chair, designed specifically for Numeroventi.

studioutte is a Milan-based multidisciplinary practice for architecture, interiors, and furniture. The vision of studioutte is distinctly Italian yet embodies an integrated, harmonious reality. Its hybrid design was composed of vernacular architecture research and influences across various regional practices. Through a clear, expressive approach that eluded reiterated and extreme elements, the aim was purity—a concentration into a primitive essence. A warm assertiveness met an animistic devotion to objects and interiors. Reaching beyond the formality of simplicity, ideas were distilled into essential, poetic forms and spaces.
